the trip

yay! i'm back!

the trip to america was quite fun and rather enjoyable. was a pity that it RAINED THROUGHOUT the day in disneyland!! what a disappointment. but i think universal studio is more suited for ppl like me cos its rides are more exciting and fun. i like rides like roller coaster and thus i love universal studio. if you like those merry-go-round rides and teacup kind of rides, disneyland is the place for you. anyway the rain really dampened my entire stay in disneyland. i hate rain on that day.

the view in grand canyon was spectacular! took a helicopter and flew over the canyon itself before coming to colorado river and the bottom of the canyon. quite fun and the boat driver was friendly as well. btw, he's a chinese too!

went las vegas as well and i get to see what really happens in a casino at every hotel! the casino is right at the doorstep of almost every hotel i tell you. minors, like us, can just walk through the entire casino without having to be told off by guards. we're allowed to "passby" the casino but not allowed to stay at a certain spot for too long nor are we allowed to gamble, like duh.

saw desert for the first time in my life as well. the vast piece of land was so wide and huge that the sky and the land was only separtated by a line. so amazingly huge!

surprisingly, i didnt get sick of western food over there and disappointingly didnt tried their macs meal. should try so that i can see the difference in the meal size and taste between singapore's macs and america's macs! is just like there's a diffence in the chicken and mash potatoes between singapore's kfc and malaysia's kfc. oh and they STILL got a&w but NO WAFFLES! waaah! i was so so so disappointed can. it's like eons since i've ate the very much loved a&w waffles.

haha the tour guide said that our tour group is the most shopaholic group in probably her entire life. that's undeniable. it's the most shopaholic group that i've seen thus far as well. there are these four malays who really really can shop till they drop lol. but the america immigration officers are really trying to give them trouble cos they're always retained and have to go through questioning and all before they're released. there's this malay guy who's much friendlier out of the four and he's really funny and nice. that time when me and my sister went for the helicopter ride, we took it with the malays. cos we've five ppl in the family and the helicopter can fetch six ppl. so we've to split up and my papa mama and little sis took it with three other ppl while me and my sis were grouped with the four malays. i thought that we've to tip the helicopter driver and we've got not enough money to give tip to the helicopter driver! so i borrowed two bucks form the malays. after that when we wanted to return the money he didnt wanted to accept loh! wah seh! but in the end we still gave it to him lah. i was just surprised that we're not even friends and he was kind of giving me money to tip the driver.

ooh, the ppl in the tour group always guess my age and they'll go, "you're in sec ... ?" den i'll proudly say, "i've finished my As!" haha got one even guessed that i am in sec2. i thought it's good cos i wont want ppl to guess me to be older like twenty or twenty plus. if like that means i'll age even faster lah. i den dun wan to age so fast.

ehhm, nothing much alr. just shopped like crazy and levi's jeans are the most most most worth buying thing in america. pretty and cheap! but i didnt buy much. just 2pairs of jeans only cos trying out was so troublesome. posting photos soon. after i've uploaded the rest from the other camera
