e-bidding

participated in e-bidding last friday and this afternoon. e-bidding for industrial unit. the higher the bid, the higher the monthy rental fee! wah seh~ it's really very exciting okay. on friday the opening bid was S$2250 only. in the end, due to fierce competition, the winner had to pay S$4150 a month to rent the 238m.sq unit! it's ~184% of the starting bid! it's really alot. today, actually wasnt as exciting cos the highest bidder went mad. min bid everytime is at least $25. so you can go $26, $27, %28 etc. but most ppl bid in multiples of $25 ($25, $50, $75,$100 etc) okay so the starting bid was around $1800 or so, i couldnt remember. den bid bid bid until around $2900 and my cousin was still deciding whether to continue bidding cos her budget was <$3000 rental plus garbage fee. den suddenly this mad bidder placed a hefty $500 above the latest bid. which totals up to $3400. he is a complete idiot in my opinion. talking bout this reminds me of econs. the first degree of price discrimination or something whereby the firm (hdb) is able to take away all the consumer surplus when it sells each unit. that applies to ebidding, just that this winner is an extreme nut case. oh, and i realised i've been really very forgetful these days. it's really quite bad. just remembering simple figures like the starting price of the bids have become a problem now. i really cant remember. the final rental could be checked fromt he website that's why i'm able to quote them in the above paragraph. maybe it's due to the head scan. i went for a skull x-ray last wed with my dad cos we realised there's a really deep dent in the centre of my skull. i dont think it's a serious problem since i've been healthy these eighteen plus years. but my dad had been quite worried ever since he knew of the dent and he asked the doctor for a referal letter for a scan even though the doctor was like saying "i think, there shouldnt be a problem since she's doing so fine. no headaces, no nothing. going to university as well" -.-' bit stupid linking me going to university with the dent. but den again, if you keep running a finger along the dent over and over again, it'll hurt like a blue black. and the part is really sensitive. i suspect my skull didnt grow fully and that part is skull-less. perhaps, i dont know. tmr going to the clinic to get the result anyway. yay! no need to go work again!
