perhaps it's a good thing to take up arts module. it makes you think deeper into the different aspects of life. i was browsing through my past entries and realised that i had so much to say especially when i took up sociology modules. intriguing strong and endless thoughts and opinions. as compared to now, i feel so much like an empty shell. sounds depressing isn't it. afterall, real estate is ultimately linked to money. i dont have much thoughts now. mostly linked to money. property maintenance, price of properties, trend of economy, consumer behaviour, etc. not that i'm up to date with the current economy and news, but these are the kind of things that go through my mind everyday.
you know, i enjoy my real estate modules. it's really really interesting to know and learn about the real estate. but there are times when i find them repetitive and commonsensical. such turn offs. and it bores me when things get technical.
they're so different from the fass modules. it's nice how the fass modules force you to think about the deeper issues in life. but in the realistic and practical world, it more practical to be learning economic issues of life. i feel so superficial, but i cant help it. i feel like an empty shell. i cant help it either. will someone bring me to enlightenment again?
rahh, thinking bout my holidays already. tzu and siyu wont be back till june/july. shawna going FS till mid june. liting going US for THREE WHOLE MONTHS! jiening's gone to japan for SEP and wont be back till the sem starts. seriously. five good friends overseas, not like i have alot of friends to begin with. dont know what i'm going do during my holidays. yes, i can still meet up with the rest of my good friends in singapore. but i cant possibly keep asking them out to play with me right. and internship isn't going to satisfy the need for fun during the holidays in anyway. rahh back to the books. i'm so distracted the entire study week. personally, i feel that study week is useless and a complete waste of time. never had been productive since the first sem i've entered NUS. this is the sixth sem. and it's still the same.
i say, three years of NUS isnt doing me good. indeed, as compared to my sec school and jc days, my social circle widened alot. out of the ten closest friends, five were made during the uni days. but, other than my trekking days, uni isnt that fulfilling at all. satisfactions are derived from completion of tedious major projects, from getting A- (sadly) and mundane stuff like that. how satisfying and fulfilling is that? life isnt supposed to be boring, is it? but den again, i dont know how else to brighten up my mundane life.
heh this post seems as if i'm very much dissatisfied with life. no, i'm not. i just need more excitement to it.
btw, my maid went home, for ever. and my mama hasnt employed and isnt really intending to employ one. and surprisingly, my home isnt that chaotic. it's alright. but i think without a maid, it's more taxing on my mama :( and i'm not that good a child either. cos i constantly make my parents worry over my meals and i have no intentions to lessen their worries. hope they get used to it and stop worrying bout my meals. living on koko crunch and milk wont kill me. i just need these two items to be stocked up at home. without the maid, the house feels empty. and i actually like it, alot. just that there's a little more things to do everyday. talking of that, i need to feed my terrapin, which is my daily worry.
i would dance my life away
